Legal basis for the processing of personal data
We only process your personal data to the extent permitted by data protection regulations.
Performance of contractual obligations
We process your personal data in order to fulfil the contract concluded with you, e.g. to provide the services/repairs you have requested and to ship your goods (Article 6.1.b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)).
We process your data insofar as you have given your consent to receive advertising emails (Article 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)).
We may process your personal data in order to pursue our legitimate interests in the management of our company, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR). For example:
- To promote and market our services
- To fulfil our obligations to our customers, employees, shareholders and other stakeholders
We process your data if processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject (Article 6.1.c of the GDPR).
Collection of personal data
We collect and process personal data necessary for the execution and processing of an order by you in our repair shop. This includes in particular:
- Your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and contact telephone number
- Your payment information (debit or credit card details), where required
If you do not provide this personal information, we will not be able to provide the goods or services you have requested.
If you use the contact form or send an email to our contact address and enter your (contact) data, only your name and email address are required. Any other information is provided on a voluntary basis.
How we process your data
We process your data in particular:
- to provide after-sales service
- to provide repair & reproof services
As protecting your data is our top priority, we minimise the processing of your personal data wherever possible.
Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing, or if you have given your prior consent.
Who we send your data to
We may transfer your data to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations towards you (e.g. to our transport service provider in order to deliver your order). In order to process your order, we pass on certain personal data such as email address and telephone number so that our transport service provider can deliver your goods and offer you more suitable shipping options.
We will receive your personal data from a dealer authorised by Barbour Europe Ltd. (Ulmenstr. 134, 40476 Düsseldorf / hereinafter referred to as “Barbour”) or from a Barbour store, if you have ordered goods or services from Barbour through the same authorised dealer. This may be the case, for example, if you have requested a repair or re-waxing of your item from an authorised Barbour dealer.
We endeavour to store all your personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, this is not possible in all cases as some of our service providers are located outside the EEA. Should we need to send your personal data outside the EEA, we will ensure that this is done securely and in accordance with all legal requirements.
We store your personal data in our secure IT environment. We implement the latest technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data from the dangers of data transmission and to protect it from disclosure to third parties. These measures are always updated to ensure they comply with the current state of the art. Payment data is encrypted and processed by our external providers. We provide our Repair & Reproof Service exclusively on the basis of advance payment (you transfer the invoiced amount).
Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data until we receive your personal data (e.g. by email or post) and that any transmission of data is at your own risk. All personal data transmitted online via www.witra-logistics.de and www.repairandreproof.de is securely processed by us.
Storing your data
We will store your personal data securely for three years from the date of your last order, unless you request erasure of your personal data or account.
We will keep the personal data provided to us for three years as part of the Repair & Reproof Service (repair and waxing service of textiles). We do this so that we can correctly respond to your enquiries, offer similar products or repeat orders in response to your enquiry and provide you with outstanding customer service.
You have the right at any time and free of charge to request information from us about the personal data we store about you, as well as about its origin, recipients or categories of recipients to whom this personal data is forwarded and the purpose of storage.
You also have the right to request that we rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data at any time. You also have the right to data transfer. Furthermore, you have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority at any time.
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by us at any time. If you have given us consent to the use of your personal data, you can revoke your consent at any time without providing a reason.

By using the contact form or sending an email to our contact address and entering your data and contact data, these data, which also includes personal data, are forwarded to us and stored. These data are not passed on by us without your consent. We only use these data exclusively for handling your inquiry. After sending the completed contact form, the feedback or the sent email, you can object to this use of data at any time without giving reasons and revoke your consent to the use of these data.
Confirming your identity
